First Image: Kieran Bew In ITV’s ‘Beowulf’
ITV has released a first look image as Kieran Bew (Da Vinci's Demons) in costume as the titular character in their upcoming 13 episode drama series Beowulf, which hails from executive producers James Dormer, Tim Haines, Katie Newman and ITV’s sister company ITV Studios. 
Despite the fact that Julian Fellowes' Downton Abbey is coming to an end later this year, he isn't quite done working with ITV. The much in-demand writer, who has period drama Gilded Age in the works at NBC, is returning to ITV to adapt one of his favourite novels, Doctor Thorne, as a three-part drama. Hat Trick Productions will produce with Mark Redhead, Julian Fellowes Chris Kelly and Ted Childs serving as executive producers. Production begins later this year.
ITV's World War 2 drama series Home Fires will premiere on Sunday May 3rd at 9pm, it has been announced.

ITV is moving forward with a local adaptation of Dutch format The Bully Project. The commercial broadcaster has ordered a three episode series based on Skyhigh TV's original format, which aired on RTL in the Netherlands earlier this year to critical acclaim.
