ITV Reverses Course On ‘The Americans’, Picks Up Seasons 3 & 4 For ITV Encore
The Americans are returning to the UK. ITV Encore has closed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive UK broadcast rights to FX's Cold War era spy drama The Americans, TVWise has learned. ITV Encore's deal with Fox covers both the third season and recently ordered fourth season. 
Emma Hamilton (Poirot: Dead Mans Folly) and Zoe Richards (How To Become A Criminal Mastermind) have joined the cast of ITV's period drama Mr Selfridge for its upcoming fourth season. They have been cast as the infamous Dolly sisters, who were ultimately large factors in in Harry Selfridge's eventual fall from grace.
ITV has given the greenlight to Harry Price: Ghost Hunter, a one-off two-hour drama based on Neil Spring's novel The Ghost Hunters which is being developed for television by Shameless and Doc Martin scribe Jack Lothian and is set up at independent production company Bentley Productions.
Bill Paterson is returning to ITV. The former Law & Order: UK star has been tapped for a co-starring role in the channel's feature length Winston Churchill drama Churchill's Secret, which is a co-production with US public broadcaster PBS. He will play Charles Wilson, the 1st Baron Moran and Winston Churchill's personal physician who was instrumental in the Prime Ministers recovery.
Romola Garai (Legacy), Matthew McFayden (Ripper Street), Rachael Stirling (The Bletchley Circle), Daisy Lewis (Downton Abbey) and Tara Fitzgerald (Game Of Thrones) have signed on to co-star opposite Michael Gambon (Harry Potter) and Lindsay Duncan (The Honourable Woman) in ITV's feature length Winston Churchill drama Churchill's Secret.
