ITV has ordered Tom Daley: Diving For Gold, a one-off documentary from independent production company Twofour about the Olympic diver's professional and personal life in the four years between the 2012 games and the upcoming Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, TVWise has learned. 
ITV has struck a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Lethal Weapon, TVWise has learned. The series will air on the main ITV channel this autumn, shortly behind the US premiere on Fox. 
ITV has given the green-light to Tina & Bobby, a three-part Tina and Bobby Moore drama from EastEnders scribe Lauren Klee and ITV Studios, TVWise has learned. Michelle Keegan (Ordinary Lies) plays Tina, while Lorne MacFadyen (Granchester) has been cast as Bobby. 
BBC Worldwide has lined up a slew of international sales for ITV's series of Maigret adaptations starring Rowan Atkinson, TVWise has learned. The first two movies, Maigret Sets A Trap and Maigret's Dead Man, have been sold to Channel One in Russia, NRK in Norway, TVNZ in New Zealand, RTE in Ireland, YLE in Finland and Prima TV in the Czech Republic, amongst others. 
ITV's Ann Summers drama Brief Encounters will premiere on Monday July 4th at 9pm, it has been announced. ITV is extending the run of Maigret. The commercial broadcaster has ordered a further two TV movies based on the novels by Georges Simonen which will again star Rowan Atkinson as Maigret, TVWise has learned. 
ITV has given the green-light to Muncie, a three-part true-crime drama about Scottish killer Peter Manuel which hails from Line of Duty producer World Productions, TVWise has learned. Douglas Henshall (Shetland) is attached to star. 
Mark Bonnar (Line Of Duty, Casualty) is joining the cast of ITV's cold case drama series Unforgotten for its second season, TVWise has learned. While there are no specifics on the character he will be playing, Bonnar joins returning cast members Nicola Walker (Spooks) and Sanjeev Bhaskar (The Kumars).
