ITV’s ‘Vera’ Renewed For Ninth Season

It's been something of an open secret that ITV had renewed their Brenda Blethyn fronted crime drama Vera for a ninth season (the broadcaster had not formally announced that past few recommissioning cycles). They made that official today, with the announcement that filming is underway on the new season. Four episodes have been ordered for season nine, matching the size of the order for all eight prior seasons.

Laurence Fox & Kate Fleetwood Join ITV’s ‘Victoria’ For Season 3

Laurence Fox (Lewis) and Kate Fleetwood (Harlots) have joined the cast of ITV's royal drama Victoria for its eight episode third season, which has now started filming for a premiere later this year. Fox has been cast as Lord Palmerston, the wayward Foreign Secretary; while Fleetwood plays Feodora, Victoria’s mysterious sister who makes an unexpected return into the Queen’s life. Further cast additions for season three include John Sessions, Lily Travers, Nicholas Audsley, David Burnett and Emily Forbes.

ITV Renews ‘The Durrells’ For Season 4

ITV is returning to Corfu. The commercial broadcaster has handed out a fourth season renewal to The Durrells. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's fourth season. Production gets underway in Corfu later this year for a 2019 premiere.

Wrestling Series ‘WOS Wrestling’ Gets 10 Episode Series Order At ITV

ITV has handed out a ten episode series order to WOS Wrestling, a wrestling series aimed at a family audience. WOS Wrestling will see some of the UK's finest pro wrestlers compete in various, intense bouts. At the end of each show, only one will get to take home the coveted WOS Wrestling Championship belt. Backstage interviews between rounds will give insight into what the wrestling stars are thinking.

ITV Renews ‘The Good Karma Hospital’ For Third Season

Fresh off of the season two finale, ITV has renewed The Good Karma Hospital for a third season. A further six episodes have been commissioned to air in 2019. The renewal comes after season two pulled in strong ratings for ITV. Season-to-date, The Good Karma Hospital has been averaging consolidated audiences of around six million viewers.
