ITV Orders Three-Part Bullying Drama ‘The Man’, Ken Nwosu To Star

ITV is getting back into business with Mike Bartlett. The commercial broadcaster has given the green-light to a The Man, a new three-part drama exploring the corrosive effects of bullying from the writer behind such shows as Trauma and Doctor Foster. Ken Nwosu (Christopher Robin, Killing Eve) is attached to star. The Man is set in a business park in Reading and follows the personal and professional life of Thomas Benson; a hard-working father and husband. Reliant on bonuses and winning pitches, Benson often finds himself leading the team when trying to win new business. When he freezes during a pitch the fall out is monumental. Determined to win back the client Thomas goes to increasingly desperate lengths to remain successful. But as he does, he begins to feel undermined, under attack and out of control. Has he lost his confidence and just feeling paranoid or is his own team, and maybe the wider world, now out to get him?

ITV Challenges 80s & 90s England Footballers To Get ‘Match Fit’

ITV is set to put some of the biggest names from the England football team during the 80s and 90s through their paces. The commercial broadcaster has ordered a two-part entertainment special, titled Match Fit, that challenges them to get back in shape and onto the pitch one last time. This England team, led by manager Harry Redknapp, is a who’s who of former 80s and 90s legends including: John Barnes, David Seaman, Robbie Fowler, Mark Wright, Matthew Le Tissier, Chris Waddle, Rob Lee, Ray Parlour, Lee Sharpe, Mark Chamberlain, Paul Merson, and Razor Ruddock.

ITV Sets Premiere Date For ‘Vanity Fair’

ITV's William Makepeace Thackeray adaptation Vanity Fair will premiere on Sunday September 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced. The second episode will then air on Monday September 3rd at 9pm, before the show settles into its regular Sunday night 9pm time-slot.

It’s Official: ITV’s ‘The Durrells’ To End With Season 4

It's finally official. ITV has confirmed that the upcoming fourth season of The Durrells will be the show's last. Production on the show's final season is set to get underway next month in Corfu, with an eye towards a 2019 premiere. “I'm delighted to be heading back to Corfu for a final series of The Durrells, said lead actress Keeley Hawes ."It's been such a wonderful series to work on and I'm so pleased that viewers have taken the family to their hearts as much as we have. ITV has set the cast for Beecham House. Tom Bateman has been set as the lead in the six episode period drama from Bend It Like Beckhan co-writer, director and producer Gurinder Chadha and Shahrukh Husain. Beecham House is set on the cusp of the 19th century in Delhi and depicts the fortunes of the residents of Beecham House, an imposing mansion surrounded by acres of exotic woods and pristine lawns. Handsome and soulful, former soldier, John Beecham, has acquired the house to start a new life for his family and a business as a trader.
