ITV Orders Dawn French Fronted Drama ‘Glass Houses’

ITV has ordered Glass Houses, a new six episode drama series fronted by The Vicar Of Dibley and Delicious star Dawn French. Glass Houses is set in a picturesque small coastal town with a close-knit community and follows the stories and fall out for Maggie Connors (Dawn French) who doesn’t pay attention to the cautionary adage that ‘those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones’.

ITV Releases Trailer For ‘The Bay’

ITV has released the trailer for their new six episode police drama The Bay, which is set to premiere next month. The Bay is set in the unique coastal town of Morecambe and follows Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong, who is assigned to a missing persons investigation in Morecambe. As a police Family Liaison Officer, she’s trained never to get emotionally involved. Her job is to support families during the worst time of their lives whilst also to be the eyes and ears of the police investigation; a cuckoo in the nest.

ITV Sets Premiere Date For ‘Cheat’

Cheat will premiere on ITV on Monday March 11th at 9pm and will then air daily in the same time-slot, it has been announced.

BBC & ITV Eye UK Launch For Streaming Service BritBox

After launching the streaming service state-side last year, the BBC and ITV have confirmed that they are in advanced talks to launch BritBox on this side of the pond. The announcement that the BBC and ITV are now "working on a formal legal agreement" for the streaming service caps off months of rumours that they were looking to launch a British rival to Netflix and Amazon.

Rose Williams, Theo James, Anne Reid & Kris Marshall To Star In ITV’s Jane Austen Adaptation ‘Sanditon’

ITV has set the cast for Sanditon. Rose Williams (Curfew, Changeland), Theo James (The Divergent Series, Downton Abbey), Anne Reid (Last Tango in Halifax, Hold the Sunset) and Kris Marshall (Death in Paradise, Love Actually) have all been cast in the eight episode adaptation of Jane Austen’s unfinished novel that was written only months before her death in 1817.

ITV Extends WBITD Deal For ‘Lethal Weapon’, Picks Up UK Rights To Season 3

ITV is sticking with Lethal Weapon. The commercial broadcaster has extended their licensing agreement for the show with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and picked up the exclusive UK rights to the show's third season. ITV said that season three would premiere this spring.
