ITV's factual drama A Confession will premiere on Monday September 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced. Based on a true story, A Confession tells the story of how Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher deliberately breached police procedure and protocol to catch a killer, a decision that ultimately cost him his career and reputation. 
ITV is adding to the cast of The Bay. Joe Absolom, James Cosmo, Stephen Tomkinson, Sharon Small, Sunetra Sarker, Owen McDonnell, Steven Robertson, Amy James-Kelly, Kerrie Taylor, Wendy Kweh, Julia Haworth and Jack Archer have joined the Morven Christie fronted series for its second season. 
The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire cheating scandal is getting the drama treatment. ITV has ordered Quiz, a three-part drama exploring how Charles and Diana Ingram attempted an ‘audacious heist’ on the quiz show. AMC is co-producing for the US market. 
The Lions Of Causton - the fourth episode of Midsomer Murders season twenty - will premiere on ITV on Monday August 26th at 8:30pm, it has been announced. 
ITV's Jane Austen adaptation Sanditon will premiere on Sunday August 25th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
EXCLUSIVE: The reign of Victoria will continue. I'm hearing that ITV is in active conversations with series producer Mammoth Screen about a formal fourth season renewal. Series star Jenna Coleman was recently on Graham Norton's radio show, where she revealed that the show would take a bit of a break before moving forward.Word has it that Coleman will be pursuing other projects between seasons three and four.
