It’s Official: ITV, Shaw Media & Fox Team Up For ‘Houdini & Doyle’, Stephen Mangan & Michael Weston To Star
Several months after word first leaked out about the project, ITV, Shaw Media and Fox have confirmed that they are teaming up for a 10 episode drama series titled Houdini & Doyle, which hails from House creator David Shore and is being toplined by Episodes star Stephen Mangan and Six Feet Under's Michael Weston. The 10 part series, which is set to enter production in Manchester and Toronto this Summer, will air on ITV Encore in the UK, Fox in the United States, and the Shaw Media owned Global network in Canada in 2016. 
Anna Maxwell Martin (The Bletchley Circle) and David Threlfall (Code of a Killer) has been set as the co-leads in ITV Encore's three-part original drama Midwinter Of The Spirit, which is based on the series of Merrily Watkins novels by Phil Rickman. 
Fox's short-lived Broadchurch adaptation Gracepoint will receive its UK premiere on ITV Encore on Wednesday April 1st at 10pm, it has been announced, 
ITV Encore has closed a deal with sister company ITV Studios Global Entertainment to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Swedish thriller series Jordskott, TVWise has learned.
