In The ClubBBC One dramas In The Club and The Syndicate, from prolific writer and producer Kay Mellor, are being put "on hold"; with no decisions being made on their fates for the foreseeable future. "Of course I’d love to do another series of In The Club and The Syndicate but they are on hold for now", Kay Mellor said in a statement released today.

Paul Nicholls (Law & Order: UK, Death In Paradise), Sandra Huggett (The Scandalous Lady W, In The Flesh), Andrew Buckley (Shameless, Wallander) and Gemma Dobson have joined the cast of Kay Mellor's BBC One series In The Club for its upcoming six episode second season, TVWise has learned.
