Channel 4’s ‘Humans’ Cancelled After Three Seasons
There will be no fourth season for Humans. The Channel 4/AMC co-production has been cancelled after three seasons, TVWise has confirmed. The news comes close to a year after the third season wrapped its run. “Humans will not be returning for another series. The show has had three successful series and has been much loved by fans", a representative of Channel 4 said in a statement. "We are incredibly proud of Humans and the hugely talented creative team, in front of and behind the camera.”
The second season of Channel 4's co-production Humans will premiere on Sunday October 30th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Humans is going global. AMC Global has secured exclusive first window television rights to the Channel 4/AMC co-production after striking a deal with international distributor Endemol Shine International, TVWise has learned. The show's eight episode first season will air across AMC Global's international footprint beginning in October, with the just ordered second season to follow in 2016.
AMC has signed on to co-produce 'Humans', Channel 4's English language adaptation of the Scandinavian sci-fi series 'Real Humans'.
