In My Skin is crossing the pond. Hulu has acquired the BBC Three and BBC Wales' dark comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor BBC Studios. In My Skin will premiere state-side on the streaming service on Thursday June 4th.

BBC Three has acquired the UK right to Hulu's comedy series Shrill after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The complete first season will be available to stream on BBC Three (via the iPlayer) from Sunday December 15th.

Channel 4 has rounded out the cast of This Way Up (formerly known as Happy AF). Aasif Mandvi, Tobias Menzies, Indira Varma Sorcha Cusack , Chris Geere, Kadiff Kirwan, Ricky Grover, Ekow Quartey and Pik-Sen Lim, Todor Jordanov, Jassem Mougari and Daniela Spataru are set to star opposite Aisling Bea and Sharon Horgan in the six episode comedy series.

Hulu has renewed sci-fi comedy Future Man for a third and final season. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's final run, down from the thirteen episode orders for seasons one and two.

Mary McDonnell has lined up her next TV gig. The former Major Crimes star has been set as a guest star on Hulu's upcoming Veronica Mars revival. McDonnell will be playing Jane, a warm-hearted therapist. There is no word on who her character is treating or whether it is a one-off guest spot or a recurring role.
