David Morrissey, Joanne Froggatt, Robert Glenister, Alun Armstrong, Lesley Manville, Adeel Akhtar, Claire Rushbrook, Kevin Doyle, Lorraine Ashbourne, Phillip Jackson, Perry Fitzpatrick, Adam Hugill and Stephen Tompkinson have been tapped to star in Sherwood, BBC One's new six episode drama from James Graham. 
BBC One has ordered Life After Life, a four episode adaptation of the Kate Atkinson novel of the same name. 
Thalissa Teixeira (The Musketeers, Press), Ariane Labed (The Lobster, Attenberg) and Gary Carr (The Deuce, The Good Fight) have been set as the leads in Trigonometry, BBC Two's eight episode drama series from Duncan Macmillan and Effie Woods. 
Film4's Tessa Ross and Working Title's former Head of Television Juliette Howell - who have worked together many times over the last 20 years - are teaming together to launch independent production company House Productions, with the backing of BBC Worldwide and Danny Cohen's Access Entertainment.
