EXCLUSIVE: History UK will be airing the Roots reboot that was produced for their U.S. counterpart after all. The A+E Networks UK owned and operated channel has taken second window on the event drama fronted by Malachi Kirby, TVWise can reveal. 
The third season of Starz's pirate drama Black Sails will premiere on History UK on Tuesday February 7th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
The second season of biker gang drama Gangland Undercover will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Tuesday October 11th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
History UK has ordered Rocket Ronnie’s American Hustle, a four episode travelogue fronted by Ronnie O'Sullivan which follows the snooker champion as he travels to the United States to discover the history and characters involved in the game of pool. 
Kurt Sutter's short-lived FX series The Bastard Executioner will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Tuesday August 2nd at 10pm, it has been announced. History UK has acquired the exclusive UK broadcast rights to Kurt Sutter's short-lived FX series after striking a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. 
History UK has picked up the UK broadcast rights to factual series Hunting Hitler after striking a deal with sister company A+E Studios International, TVWise has learned. The eight episode series will premiere on History UK on Monday November 2nd at 10pm.
