Michelle De Swarte (The Duchess) has been set as the lead in The Baby, the eight episode Sky Atlantic/HBO co-production that hails from Siân Robins-Grace and Lucy Gaymer. Amira Ghazalla and Amber Grappy have also been cast in the series.

Here's one HBO original that won't be heading to Sky Atlantic. BBC Two has boarded the U.S. premium cable network's international finance drama Industry as a co-producer and will now serve as the UK broadcaster.

HBO content is staying put on Sky. The satcaster has extended their output deal with WarnerMedia. The extension, which comes ahead of the 2020 expiration of the prior agreement, also includes a new co-production agreement that give Sky the opportunity to co-produce select HBO Max originals going forward. The five-year agreement covers all of Sky's European markets.

BBC One has set the cast for Lethal White. Robert Glenister (Curfew), Joseph Quinn (Les Misérables) and Nick Blood (Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) are set to guest star in the fourth installment of their Strike series, which is based on J.K. Rowling’s Cormoran Strike novel series. They join a returning cast that includes Tom Burke, Holliday Grainger, Natasha O’Keeffe and Kerr Logan.

After teaming together on both Chernobyl and the upcoming Catherine The Great, Sky and HBO are re-teaming to co-produce another six episode limited series, The Third Day. The Young Pope and Fantastic Beasts star Jude Law is attached the star. Production begins next month ahead of a 2020 premiere on Sky Atlantic and HBO.

BBC One has handed out an early second season renewal to their Suranne Jones fronted drama Gentleman Jack. The renewal comes after only a single episode of the series has aired in its Sunday night slot. Premium cable network HBO, who co-produce for the US market, are on-board for season two. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's second season.
