Sky Extends HBO Output Deal With WarnerMedia, Will Co-Produce HBO Max Originals

HBO content is staying put on Sky. The satcaster has extended their output deal with WarnerMedia. The extension, which comes ahead of the 2020 expiration of the prior agreement, also includes a new co-production agreement that give Sky the opportunity to co-produce select HBO Max originals going forward. The five-year agreement covers all of Sky's European markets.

BBC Three Orders ‘Starstruck’ Comedy From Rose Matafeo

BBC Three has handed out a series order to Starstruck, a six episode comedy series created by and starring 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Rose Matafeo. HBO Max - the soon-to-launch streaming service from WarnerMedia - is on-board as the U.S. broadcast partner.
