5USA has acquired the Chris Noth fronted FBI drama Gone after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution. The show's twelve episode first season will premiere on the channel next month.

Universal Channel's new acquisition Gone will receive its UK premiere on Monday March 19th at 9pm, it has been announced. Gone tells the story of Kit “Kick” Lanigan, the survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Novak, the FBI agent who rescued her. Determined never to fall victim again, as an adult Kick has trained herself in martial arts and the use of firearms. She finds her calling when Novak persuades her to join a special task force dedicated to solving abductions and missing persons’ cases.

Universal Channel has sealed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Fox's Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife) and Emily VanCamp (Revenge) fronted medical drama The Resident. The series is presently eyed for an April premiere.
