Ed Sheeran Joins Kurt Sutter’s FX Series ‘The Bastard Executioner’
Ed Sheeran is going medieval. The chart-topping musician has been tapped for a recurring role in Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter's new FX series The Bastard Executioner, which is currently shooting its ten episode first season in Wales. Sheeran will play Sir Cormac, an ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder. 
FX is cutting Billy Crystal's TV comeback short. The network has pulled the plug on The Comedians, their half-hour comedy series starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad, after airing one thirteen episode season, TVWise has confirmed.

FX has found one of the three leads for their next drama pilot. Billy Magnussen (The Divide) has joined the cast of Snowfall, the network's drama project from award-winning filmmaker John Singleton which explores the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles in the early 1980s.
With production on the 10 episode anthology series now underway in LA, FX is putting the finishing touches on casting for American Crime Story. Leonard Roberts has boarded the series from Ryan Murphy in a recurring role. He will play journalist Dennis Schatzman.
Numb3rs star Rob Morrow has joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's new 10 episode FX series American Crime Story, which focuses on a new “true crime” case each season. Production on the series is presently underway in Los Angeles for an early 2016 premiere.
