FX has renewed ratings hit anthology series American Horror Story for a sixth season, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered 13 episodes for the show's sixth season, which will premiere in Fall 2016. 
FX is getting a divorce. The network has cancelled their original comedy series Married starring Nat Faxon and Judy Greer after two seasons, TVWise has confirmed. 
FX has picked up their Donald Glover comedy pilot Atlanta to series with a ten episode order, TVWise has learned. The series, from FX Productions, is expected to air in 2016. FX has handed out a pilot order to Legion, an hour-long drama project from Marvel Television, FX Productions and Fargo executive producer Noah Hawley, TVWise has learned. 
FX has handed out a 10 episode third season renewal to their geo-political thriller series Tyrant, from Howard Gordon, Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. 
FX is staying in business with former Rescue Me star Denis Leary. The cable network has renewed Leary's comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, from FX Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios, for a ten episode second season, which is set to air in 2016. 
FX has set their sights on a Sons Of Anarchy spin-off. The network is teaming with Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter to develop a spin-off of the long-running biker drama, TVWise has confirmed. 
FX has renewed their hit vampire drama The Strain for a 13 episode third season, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf announced during the company's executive panel at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour. The network has also picked up two new comedy series and set premiere dates for 'The Bastard Executioner', 'American Horror Story: Hotel' and the second season of 'Fargo'.
