Starz's American Gods adaptation has found a UK home. Amazon Prime Video has secured the exclusive UK rights to the series after striking a deal with FremantleMedia International, TVWise has learned. The streaming service has also acquired rights to American Gods in Austria, Germany and Japan.

TruTV UK is sticking with America's Got Talent. The Turner owned broadcaster has inked a new deal with FremantleMedia International to pick up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the upcoming eleventh season of the NBC competition series, TVWise has learned. The eleventh season of America's Got Talent will premiere on TruTV UK on Tuesday June 14th at 8pm.

No Offence is heading to France. International distributor FremantleMedia International has sold Paul Abbott's Channel 4 cop dramedy to French broadcaster France Télévisions, who will air the series on their channel France 2, TVWise has learned.

FremantleMedia International (FMI) has acquired global distribution rights to BBC Two's upcoming Nigela Lawson fronted food series Simply Nigella after striking a deal with BBC Productions. FMI will launch the series to international buyers at MIPCOM in October.

FremantleMedia International (FMI) has secured the international distribution rights to the recently green-lit eight episode papal miniseries The Young Pope,starring Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes, Spy). FMI will handle distribution in all territories except the US, France, the UK, Ireland, Italy and Germany, where co-production partners HBO, Canal+ and Sky control the rights.

After launching the series at MIPTV, FremantleMedia International has lined up the first international sales for Paul Abbott's cop dramedy No Offence, which launches on Channel 4 in early May. FMI has lined up deals for the eight episode series starring Joanna Scanlan and Elaine Cassidy with Australian public broadcaster ABC TV and Danish broadcaster DR, who will launch the series in their respective territories later this year.
