BBC Two Acquires UK Rights To Australian Drama ‘Picnic At Hanging Rock’

Picnic At Hanging Rock is coming to the UK.  BBC Two has secured the UK rights to the six episode Australian drama starring Natalie Dormer (Game Of Thrones) after striking a deal with international distributor FremantleMedia International. The series will premiere on BBC Two later this year.

BBC, UKTV & FMI Team Together For Steve Backshall Adventure Series

This is an interesting one. The BBC, UKTV and FremantleMedia International have teamed together to commission a ten episode adventure series fronted by Steve Backshall. Under the "groundbreaking" new commissioning model, BBC Two will air the first four hour-long episodes in 2019. Later that same year, UKTV's Dave channel will are six exclusive episodes, followed by it's own versions of the BBC episodes. FremantleMedia International will handle global sales.

American GodsStarz's American Gods adaptation has found a UK home. Amazon Prime Video has secured the exclusive UK rights to the series after striking a deal with FremantleMedia International, TVWise has learned. The streaming service has also acquired rights to American Gods in Austria, Germany and Japan.

TruTV Picks Up UK Rights To ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 11, Sets June Premiere

TruTV UK is sticking with America's Got Talent. The Turner owned broadcaster has inked a new deal with FremantleMedia International to pick up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the upcoming eleventh season of the NBC competition series, TVWise has learned. The eleventh season of America's Got Talent will premiere on TruTV UK on Tuesday June 14th at 8pm.
