Nicki Minaj Comedy Gets Series Commitment At ABC Family
Nicki Minaj is heading to ABC Family. The Disney owned cable network has handed out a series commitment to an as-yet untitled comedy series based on Nicki Minaj's life. The Grammy Award nominee has signed on for a starring role and will also serve as an executive producer on the comedy project. 


ABC Family has renewed Stitchers, their first procedural drama series, for a second season, the network announced on Tuesday. The exact size of the order for the show's second season has not been determined, though it is expected to be at least 10 episodes.
ABC Family has green-lit production on Guilt, a pilot for an hour-long drama series which is similar in tone to the real life Amanda Knox case and tells the story of an American teenager who becomes the prime suspect in her roommates violent murder.
Kaitlyn Leeb (Bitten, Heartland) has joined the cast of ABC Family's Mortal Instruments adaptation Shadowhunters in a guest starring role. She will play Camille Belcourt is the beautiful and cunning leader of the New York vampire clan.
David Castro (Red Zone) has joined cast of ABC Family's Mortal Instruments TV adaptation Shadowhunters in a recurring role. He will play Raphael, an elegantly handsome, well-dressed vampire who aspires to lead the New York vampire clan.
