Freeform Eyes Move Into Animated Space With ‘Betches’ & ‘Woman World’
Freeform is making a move into the animated space. The Disney owned cable network has put two animated series into development: Betches, based on the multimedia brand of the same name; and Woman World, an adaptation of Aminder Dhaliwal’s graphic novel. 
It's the end of the road for Young & Hungry. The Freeform comedy series - which airs on this side of the pond on E4 - is set to end its run with its (current) fifth season, the U.S. cable network announced on Thursday.
Amazon Prime Video UK has struck a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution to secure the exclusive UK rights to Freeform's drama series The Bold Type. The series will premiere on this side of the pond on Friday February 9th.

Charlie DePew (The Amazing Spiderman) has joined the cast of Freeform's upcoming one-hour soap Famous In Love as a series regular, TVWise has learned.
He will play Jake, a down-to-earth guy from the Midwest with an edge who aspires to be a screenwriter/indie filmmaker. Charlie DePew replaces Finding Carter star Jesse Henderson, who starred in the pilot episode, but has since departed the production after the role was re-envisioned.
