Shannen Doherty (Charmed, Heathers) has signed on to star in Fox's upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 event series BH90210 (formerly known as 90210). BH90210 is not a traditional revival in the vein of Will & Grace or The X-Files. Instead of it being a continuation of Beverly Hills, 90210 itself, it's a serialised drama that sees the original cast playing heightened versions of themselves and is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.

24: Legacy is not getting a second season. U.S. broadcaster Fox has cancelled the latest entry in the 24 franchise after a single twelve episode season. While the series, starring Corey Hawkins, wont be returning, Fox is not quite done with the franchise. The network is actively considering an anthology take, which, while retaining the real-time format, would feature a new cast and story-line each season. Fox is understood to be in preliminary talks with Howard Gordon about this new anthological iteration.

It's the end of the road for Rosewood. Fox has cancelled the Morris Chestnut fronted crime drama after two full seasons, TVWise has learned. While it was a decent ratings performer last season, when it was serving as the lead-in for Empire, the show suffered in its new Thursday night time-slot and after the ratings all but collapsed it was shunted to a Friday night "death" slot.

The network has opted for a longer run for this second revival season, ordering ten episodes, up from the six that comprised season ten. TVWise reported late last year that the increased order was a key objective for senior Fox execs, who were eyeing the new season for a spot of the 2017-2018 schedule.
