Food Network Orders Ainsley Harriott Fronted Travelogue ‘Market Menu’
Despite losing out on hosting the Ready Steady Cook revival, Ainsley Harriott won't be hurting for work. Discovery's Food Network has ordered Market Menu, a six episode food travelogue series fronted by the celebrity chef. 
Discovery has inked a wide-ranging licensing agreement with Channel 4 to acquire a wealth of Jamie Oliver content for their Food Network. “Jamie Oliver is a much-loved talent and we’re delighted to complete the deal with Channel 4, bringing Food Network fans more of his most popular cooking shows”, said Jamie Watkins, Content Sourcing and Acquisitions Manager at Discovery.
After smashing ratings records, Paul Hollywood City Bakes has been picked up for a second season by Food Network. The Scripps owned channel has ordered ten episodes for season two, with the format being extended from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Food Network is getting into business with The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood. The Scripps owned channel has given the green-light to Paul Hollywood's City Bakes, an ten episode travelogue series that follows Hollywood as he travels the world to explore local cuisine.
Scripps Networks UK has handed a 40 episode order to cooking show The Big Eat, which will go out on their Food Network this November.
