ITV's bumper deal with Fox for Family Guy and Seth MacFarlane's other animated series gives them the rights to put episodes on ITV Player, TVWise can reveal. New episodes will be put on the broadcaster's catch up service after they have aired on ITV2.

No surprises here: Family Guy is moving to BBC Two. Ahead of BBC Three's move online later this year, the BBC has announced that Family Guy will be moving to BBC Two until the corporation's licensing agreement for the Fox animated series expires in 2017. As such BBC Two will premiere the thirteenth season of Family Guy later this year, before ITV2 takes over first window rights this Autumn.

FOX UK has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the fifth season of anthology series American Horror Story (which is subtitled Hotel) and the second-run rights to Seth MacFarlane's newest animated series Bordertown.

Despite reports to the contrary, FOX UK has confirmed that they have retained the first run rights to new and future seasons of Seth MacFarlane's animated comedy American Dad. The channel also continues to hold repeat rights to Family Guy.

It's Official: the BBC has lost the rights to Family Guy. Rival broadcaster ITV has poached the exclusive first run rights to the animated comedy for their digi-channel ITV2 as part of a wide-ranging deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution which gives ITV the rights to all of Seth MacFarlane's animated series.
