Expectation Hires Sky’s Morwenna Gordon For EP Role In Comedy Division
Expectation has hired Sky Commissioning Editor Morwenna Gordon to serve as an executive producer in their comedy division. She will work alongside Creative Director of Comedy Nerys Evans. Morwenna Gordon will take up post in March. 
BBC Three has ordered Killed By My Fame, a one-off hour-long drama exploring the dark side of reality television that has recently entered public consciousness, especially after DCMS launched an enquiry into duty of care to potentially 'vulnerable' participants.
BBC Two has ordered Alma’s Not Normal - a half-hour comedy pilot written by and starring Sophie Willan, who won the BBC’s inaugural Caroline Aherne Bursary Award in 2018. Alma's Not Normal follows Boltonian wild-child, Alma Nuthall and her family of eccentric, unruly women. With no qualifications and a rebellious streak a mile wide, Alma decides to become an escort to support her dreams of becoming a star and leaving Bolton.
Sky One has handed out a six episode series order to Intelligence, a comedy series set inside British intelligence agency GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) starring David Schwimmer (Friends, American Crime Story) and Nick Mohammed (The Martian, Christopher Robin).
Gabrielle Creevy (Casualty) and Jo Hartley (Bliss) have been set to star in In My Skin, BBC Three's upcoming Comedy Slice from Expectation Entertainment - the independent production company set up last year by Tim Hincks and Peter Fincham.
Fresh off of his turn co-hosting The Big Narstie Show, Channel 4 has ordered a new entertainment series which is set to be fronted by Mo Gilligan. “I used to walk past Channel 4 on the way to school, now I’m extremely happy to have my very own show on a channel that pioneers original comedy”, Mo Gilligan said.
