Universal Channel Acquires Frank Spotnitz’s Hostage Crisis Drama Series ‘Ransom’
Ransom is crossing the Atlantic. The hostage crisis series from former The X-Files writer and executive producer Frank Spotnitz and David Vainola, which airs state-side on CBS, has been acquired for UK broadcast by Universal Channel, TVWise has learned. 

Sky Living has acquired ABC's legal thriller Conviction, starring Agent Carter's Hayley Atwell, after striking a deal with international distributor Entertainment One, TVWise has learned. The series is set to premiere on Sky Living in November.

FOX UK has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to six-part miniseries Someone Knows My Name, starring Aunjanue Ellis (The Mentalist), after striking a deal with Entertainment One (eOne), TVWise has learned. The miniseries is set to premiere on FOX UK on Sunday July 17th at 9pm.
