ITV has handed out a series order to Tenacity, a six episode submarine drama from Jane Tranter & Julie Gardner's Bad Wolf and Designated Survivor studio eOne. The drama series, which is inspired by J.S. Law’s novel of the same name, was created and written by Peter A. Dowling.

Ransom is heading to free-to-air. Channel 5 has closed a deal with eOne to pick up the FTA rights to the hostage crisis drama series for their dig-net 5USA. The series will launch on 5USA next month.

Private Eyes has secured a second UK home. Channel 5's digi-net 5USA has acquired the Canadian drama series fronted by Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210). eOne (Entertainment One) handles global sales. The show's first season will premiere on 5USA next month.

Mary Kills People is coming to the UK. More4 has secured the UK rights to the Canadian drama series after inking a life-of-series agreement with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne). The deal was brokered by Patrick Roberts, eOne’s Vice-President of Sales – UK & Scandinavia, International Distribution and Nick Lee, Channel 4's Head of Series Acquisition.

BBC Four has inked a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution to acquire the UK rights to Australian drama Safe Harbour. Additionally, they have also extended their licensing agreements with eOne, Dynamic Television and DR Sales to pick up season three of Cardinal, season two of Trapped, and season three of Follow The Money, respectively. All four series will air in BBC Four's Saturday night foreign drama slot.

ABC has handed out a full-season order to their new Nathan Fillion fronted drama The Rookie, the network announced on Monday. The back order is for seven episodes, bringing the show's first season to twenty episodes. While the series has yet to premiere on this side of the pond, Sky Witness secured the UK rights last month in a deal with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne).

Nathan Fillion's new ABC drama The Rookie is coming to the UK. Sky Witness has secured the exclusive UK rights to the procedural after striking a deal with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne). The acquisition underpins Sky's commitment to spend millions on U.S. procedurals for the recently rebranded channel. A UK premiere date has not yet been set.
