Channel 4 Acquires Fox’s Animated Comedy ‘Duncanville’
Channel 4 has acquired the UK rights to Fox's upcoming animated comedy series Duncanville. The series is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal International Distribution. After months of rumours, Batwoman has found a UK home. E4 has secured the UK rights to the latest Arrowverse show in a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. E4 has acquired the exclusive UK rights to NBC's musical dramedy series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist after striking a deal with international distributor Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution Group. The acquisition comes mere hours after E4 announced a deal with CBS Studios International for CBS' Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan and linear rights to Star Trek: Discovery. It also marks only the second new series from the 2019-2019 broadcast season in the United States to land a UK deal, after Sky previously picked up NBC comedy Sunnyside for their soon-to-launch dedicated comedy channel.
