E! UK - which is now operated by Sky following the recent Comcast deal - has acquired the first and second seasons of USA Network's reality series Temptation Island in a deal with Banijay Rights. The series will launch on E! UK on Sunday August 4th.

EXCLUSIVE: The Royals - the scripted drama series about the personal lives of a fictional British Royal Family - has lost its UK broadcaster. TVWise can exclusively reveal that E! UK & Ireland has opted not to renew their licensing deal for the series with international distributor Lionsgate Television; leaving The Royals without a UK home just as the third season has started airing in the United States.

E! UK has taken the rights to the NBC late night talker The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after striking a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution, TVWise has learned. The NBCU owned channel plans to fast-track the series and will air episodes within 24 hours of the US broadcast. The premiere is set for Tuesday November 15th at 10pm, with new episodes airing Tuesday through Saturday in the same time-slot.

E! UK has closed a deal with Lionsgate Television to pick up the exclusive first run UK rights to The Royals, the 10 episode scripted drama about the British royal family starring Elizabeth Hurley and Vincent Regan. The series, which has already been renewed for a second season, is set to premiere on the channel on Wednesday March 25th at 9pm.
