Dracula will premiere on BBC One on New Year's Day (Wedneday January 1st) at 9pm and will continue to air on consecutive nights until the season finale on Friday January 3rd, it has been announced.

BBC One has released a short teaser trailer and three first look images for their upcoming Dracula series from Sherlock co-creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. Dracula is a new take on the classic Bram Stoker novel and will re-introduce the world to Dracula (Claes Bang), the vampire who made evil sexy. In Transylvania in 1897, the blood-drinking Count is drawing his plans against Victorian London. And be warned: the dead travel fast.
