Katherine Heigl To Topline CBS Drama Pilot ‘Doubt’

CBS has found the new lead for Doubt. State Of Affairs alum Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in the hour-long drama pilot, which is being re-worked and re-shot after it was produced last development cycle and came very close to scoring a series order. Heigl replaces KaDee Strickland, who was the lead in the first pilot.

CBS has handed out its first traditional pilot orders of the season with a pickup for an as-yet untitled legal drama from Grey's Anatomy scribes Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, and a comedy starring stand up comedian Tommy Johnagin.
