Doc Martin is coming to an end. ITV has renewed the Martin Clunes fronted drama series for a tenth and final season. Production on the show's final season is set to begin next spring, ahead of a late 2021 premiere. 
The latest season of Doc Martin is heading to Australia. International distributor DRG has licensed the show's ninth season, which just recently started airing the UK on ITV, to the ABC. Additionally, they have also sold the fifth season of ITV2's Plebs to the ABC in Australia and Comedy Central in New Zealand. The ninth season of Doc Martin will premiere on ITV on Wednesday September 25th at 9pm, it has been announced.
