Outmatched is crossing the pond. FOX UK has acquired the short-lived comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The series will premiere on the channel on Thursday December 10th at 9pm with a double-bill. 
FOX UK has acquired the UK rights to ABC's short-lived drama series The Family after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The show, which was cancelled after a single season, will premiere on the channel on Sunday October 11th at 9pm. 
Channel 4 has acquired Buffy The Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel for their streaming service All 4 after striking a deal with international distributor Disney. The series will be available to stream on All 4 from Friday September 18th. E4 will also air the series later this year. 
StarzPlay has acquired the UK rights to Hulu's short-lived dramedy series High Fidelity after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The series will premiere on the streaming service on Thursday September 10th. 
Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has lost its UK broadcaster. E4 has opted not to pick up the seventh and final season of the ABC series from international distributor Disney Media Distribution, TVWise has confirmed. Rumours that the series would not be returning to E4 have been circulating for weeks. 
Two Freeform originals are crossing the pond. BBC Three has acquired the UK rights to The Fosters spin-off Good Trouble and supernatural drama Fort Salem (also known as Motherland: Fort Salem) after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. 
UKTV's Alibi channel has secured the UK rights to ABC's Cobie Smulders (Marvel's The Avengers, How I Met Your Mother) fronted drama series Stumptown after striking a deal with international distributor Disney Media Distribution. The show's eighteen episode first season is being eyed for an April premiere. 
As part of a bumper deal with Disney Media Distribution, UKTV's Alibi channel has secured the UK rights to ABC's short-lived Poppy Montgomery drama series Reef Break, and the third season of the Ioan Gruffudd fronted Harrow. The deal also covers ABC's Stumptown.
