Disney Channel’s ‘101 Dalmatian Street’ Adds Paloma Faith, Miriam Margolyes, Ben Bailey Smith, Tameka Empson & Bethan Wright
Paloma Faith, Miriam Margolyes, Ben Bailey Smith, Tameka Empson and Bethan Wright have all signed up for guest roles on 101 Dalmatian Street, Disney Channel's new animated series based on Dodie Smith's novel and the Disney classic 101 Dalmatians. 101 Dalmatian Street is set in modern day London in the borough of Camden. The series follows the adventures of eldest siblings Dylan and Dolly, their parents Doug and Delilah, and 97 younger puppies, whose names also begin with ‘D’, in an epic comedy about family life, multiplied one hundred and one. 
Disney Channel has set the cast for Sadie Sparks. Georgia Lock (The Evermoor Chronicles, Friday Download), Rufus Hound (Argumental, Celebrity Juice) and Craig Revel-Horwood (Strictly Come Dancing, Annie) have signed on for starring roles in the animated series. 
Marvel Avengers are getting their own channel. Disney Channels UK & Ireland has announced a channel takeover that will see Disney XD+1 temporarily rebrand as Marvel Avengers Channel. The takeover takes effect from April 1st and will last until April 29th. 
Mickey Mouse is getting his own dedicated channel. Disney UK & Ireland has announced plans for a channel takeover which will see Disney XD+1 become 'Mickey and Pals' for a month, beginning on September 4th. 
Here's a nice bit of cross-company casting. Dove Cameron, the star of Disney Channel's U.S. series Liv And Maddie and Descendants, has signed on for a recurring role on the upcoming second season of Disney Channel UK's original series The Lodge. She will play Jess, a sporty girl who lives locally to The Lodge who has been training for a big mountain biking championship.
