Discovery is re-teaming with Tony Robinson for a new 3D documentary series. The factual channel has given the green-light to Tony Robinson's Wild West In 3D, a three-part series which follows the former Time Team host as he sets out to expose the untold story of the ‘Wild West’ and reveal the truth behind the Hollywood legends. 
Discovery Channel UK is sticking with Bear Grylls. The factual channel has acquired the UK broadcast rights to the eight episode second season of Running Wild With Bear Grylls after striking a deal with international distributor Electus. The show's second season is expected to premiere this September.

Discovery Networks International has acquired one-off Africa's Piranha for their Animal Planet channels in the UK Africa, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, China, Taiwan India, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Rim after agreeing a deal with wildlife and factual entertainment producer and distributor Earth Touch.
