German Cold War drama Deutschland 83 will receive its UK premiere on Channel 4 on Sunday January 3rd at 9pm, it has been announced.

Deutschland 83 is coming to the UK. Channel 4 has acquired the UK linear broadcast and VOD rights to the critically acclaimed German Cold War drama series after striking a deal with international distributor FremantleMedia International, TVWise has learned. The series will initially premiere in the UK with a linear broadcast on Channel 4 before being made available exclusively as a boxset on C4's soon-to-launch foreign language drama VOD service Walter Presents
