Death In Paradise is losing two main cast members. Shyko Amos and Aude Legastelois-Bidé are exiting BBC One's Caribbean-set murder mystery series ahead of its tenth season. They joined Death In Paradise back in 2018 and starred in the eighth and ninth seasons of the show. Shyko Amos played Ruby Patterson, while Aude Legastelois-Bidé played Detective Sergeant Madeleine Dumas.

Death In Paradise has found its new DI. Ralf Little (The Cafe, The A Word) has been set as the new lead in BBC One's Caribbean-set crime drama. He replaces Ardal O'Hanlon who is poised to exit the series in its upcoming ninth season. Little will play Detective Inspector Neville Parker, who is reluctantly dispatched to the fictional island of Saint Marie to investigate the suspicious death of a woman from his home city, Manchester. The BBC and Red Planet Pictures have released an image teasing the new lead actor who will replace Ardal O'Hanlon as the new Detective Inspector on Death In Paradise. As TVWise reported last week, O'Hanlon is poised to exit the Caribbean set crime drama and will make his final appearance as Detective Inspector Jack Mooney during the show's ninth season, which is set to premiere in early 2020.

She joins returning cast members Ardal O’Hanlon, Tobi Bakare, Shyko Amos, Don Warrington and Elizabeth Bourgine.
