dc-crossover-episodeJust as they have in previous years, The CW announced a litany of renewals for their existing scripted line-up during their executive panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. Getting the nod for next season is Arrow (season six), The Flash (season four), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season three), Supernatural (season thirteen!), Jane The Virgin (season four), Supergirl (season three) and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (season three).

TVWise has identified three new shows that various UK broadcasters are close to acquiring. Those shows include The CW's eagerly anticipated Arrow and The Flash spin-off DC's Legends Of Tomorrow, starring Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz and Victor Garber; Canadian sci-fi drama Killjoys starring Warehouse 13's Aaron Ashmore, which airs on Syfy in the United States; and ABC new period crime drama Wicked City.

The CWThe CW has set their line-up for the 2015-2016 season by handing out series orders to three of their drama pilots. The three dramas to get the nod were the Arrow/The Flash team-up spin-off (now titled DC's Legends Of Tomorrow), Belgian adaptation Cordon and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (which was initally developed as a half-hour at premium cable network Showtime).

Franz DrumehBritish actor Franz Drameh has joined the cast of The CW's proposed Arrow & The Flash spin-off, which is presently being eyed for a berth on the network's mid-season schedule. He has been cast as Jay Jackson, a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew.

Dominic Purcell Boards The CW’s Proposed Arrow/The Flash Spin-Off

In what is his first series regular role since Prison Break, Dominic Purcell has joined the cast of The CW's proposed Arrow/The Flash spin-off which is described as a "team up" show, featuring recurring players from both Arrow and The Flash, as well as other characters from the DC Comics universe.
