Channel 5 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ Two-Hour Series Finale
The two-hour series finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Tuesday September 29th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
D.B. Russell is joining the FBI. Ted Danson has joined the cast of CSI: Cyber as a series regular for its upcoming second season. He will reprise his role as Criminalist DB Russell, a character he first started playing on the twelfth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
CBS is officially closing the book on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After weeks of rumours the network has confirmed that the veteran series will be wrapping its run next season with a two-hour TV movie.
CBS is close to making a final decision on the fate of their CSI franchise. TVWise understand that, as has been hinted at for months, CBS execs have opted to give CSI: Crime Scene Investigation a final send off. Now I cant confirm the rumours that the send off will be a two-hour TV movie, but that is one scenario being considered, with another one being a 8 episode send off similar to what USA Network did for Law & Order: Criminal Intent back in 2011. In addition, CBS is close to ordering a 13 episode second season of CSI: Cyber. 
The fifteenth season of CBS’ veteran procedural CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will receive its UK premiere on Saturday January 24th at 10:15pm, it has been announced.
George Eads, who has played criminalist Nick Stokes on 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' since the pilot in 2000, is set to exit the veteran CBS procedural at the end of this season.
