‘CSI: Cyber’ Season 2 To Get UK TV Premiere On CBS Justice In 2020

The second and final season of CSI: Cyber is finally crossing the pond. CBS Justice, who recently aired the show's first season, have announced plans to air season two in 2020. This would mark the UK TV premiere for the second season after the previous UK broadcaster, Channel 5, opted not air it. CSI: Cyber is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.

Matt Lanter Books Guest Role On ‘CSI: Cyber’

Matt LanterMatt Lanter is set for a run in with the FBI. The former 90210 star has booked a guest starring role on the second season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation spin-off CSI Cyber, which counts Patricia Arquette and Ted Danson amongst its cast members. Lanter will play an "attractive hacker" and really intriguing guy, who lives his life through the Internet and builds relationships with the people whose lives he hacks into. He hacks into people’s lives, then they become part of his life.

The latest entry in the CSI franchise, CSI: Cyber, will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Tuesday October 6th at 10pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

Peter MacNicol To Exit ‘CSI: Cyber’

The casting shake-up on CSI spin-off CSI: Cyber continues. Peter MacNicol, who played FBI Assistant Director Stavros Sifter across the show's 13 episode first season, is exiting the series and will not appear in CSI: Cyber's upcoming second season, which is set to premiere this Fall on CBS in the Sunday night 10pm time-slot.

CSI3D.B. Russell is joining the FBI. Ted Danson has joined the cast of CSI: Cyber as a series regular for its upcoming second season. He will reprise his role as Criminalist DB Russell, a character he first started playing on the twelfth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
