After quietly dropping The Daily Show With Jon Stewart earlier this year, the Viacom International Media Networks backed channel has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the new series of the show, fronted by comedian Trevor Noah.

Comedy Central UK is adding two US sitcoms to their line-up. The VIMN backed broadcaster has closed a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to NBC's Undateable. In addition, Comedy Central UK has also inked an agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the UK rights to the third season of Bob's Burgers.

Comedy Central UK is extending their relationship with Warner Bros. The broadcaster has renewed their licensing deal with the studio's global sales arm Warner Bros. International Television Distribution for Friends. The lucrative new deal for the show runs for four years and ensures that the iconic sitcom will remain on British screens until at least 2019.

Comedy Central UK To Air All 236 Episodes Of ‘Friends’

FriendsComedy Central UK is celebrating the 21st anniversary of Friends in a big way. The VIMN backed channel has announced that to mark the 21st anniversary of the series premiere of Friends on NBC in 1994, they will air all 236 episodes of the ground-breaking sitcom in order, from the pilot all the way through to the series finale, beginning on Monday August 24th.

Comedy Central’s Jill Offman Gets Expanded Role Overseeing MTV UK

Jill OffmanViacom International Media Networks UK is handing Comedy Central UK boss Jill Offman an expanded role. The exec, who is currently MD of the comedy channel, has been named Managing Director of both Comedy Central UK and MTV UK.
