Comedy Central UK is bringing back The Daily Show. After quietly dropping The Daily Show With Jon Stewart earlier this year, the Viacom International Media Networks backed channel has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the new series of the show, fronted by comedian Trevor Noah. 
The nineteenth season of South Park will receive its UK premiere on Comedy Central UK on Friday September 18th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
Comedy Central UK is celebrating the 21st anniversary of Friends in a big way. The VIMN backed channel has announced that to mark the 21st anniversary of the series premiere of Friends on NBC in 1994, they will air all 236 episodes of the ground-breaking sitcom in order, from the pilot all the way through to the series finale, beginning on Monday August 24th. 
Viacom International Media Networks UK is handing Comedy Central UK boss Jill Offman an expanded role. The exec, who is currently MD of the comedy channel, has been named Managing Director of both Comedy Central UK and MTV UK. 
ABC’s recently renewed comedy series The Middle will return to Comedy Central UK to finish airing its sixth season from Tuesday June 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced.
