Cineflix Rights has inked deals with Brown Bob Productions and Windfall Films to acquire international distribution rights to a raft of factual content from both indies. The deals were brokered by Cineflix Rights Acquisitions Manager Catherine McCormick and recently appointed Head of Acquisitions Richard Life.

Cineflix Rights has hired Richard Life to serve as their Head of Acquisitions - a role that will see him heading up the company's global acquisitions team. In the newly created role, Richard will spearhead acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, as the company executes its strategy of increasing content streams through producer partnerships, development and first-look deals, and co-productions.

Coroner is crossing the pond. NBCU's flagship UK channel Universal TV has acquired the UK rights to the eight episode M.R. Hall adaptation which is being produced for Canadian public broadcaster CBC. The series, toplined by Serinda Swan (Ballers), is expected to premiere in 2019.
