NBC Orders 1 Additional Episode For ‘Law & Order: SVU’, ‘Blindspot, ‘Chicago Fire’ & ‘Chicago P.D.’

NBC is beefing up on four of their hit drama series. The network has ordered one additional episode apiece for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, freshman thriller Blindspot, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., TVWise has learned. Each of those four series will now produce 23 episodes this season.

Channel 5 has closed a deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to NBC's Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago PD for their digi-net 5USA.
