Chicago PD is switching broadcasters here in the UK. Sky Witness has secured the UK rights to the Chicago Fire spin-off, after the previous six seasons all aired on Channel 5's digi-net 5USA. NBC is bringing back two of the three series from Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise for the 2016-2017 season. At a press event held in Chicago yesterday on the sets of the franchise, NBC topper Robert Greenblatt announced that the network had renewed both Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. Chicago Fire will be back for its fifth season, while Chicago PD will return for a fourth season.
