Channel 5 Renews ‘All Creatures Great And Small’ For Two More Seasons
All Creatures Great And Small is returning to Channel 5. The ViacomCBS owned broadcaster has handed the period drama a two season renewal; picking up All Creatures Great And Small for season three and four. The show's third and fourth seasons will both consist of six episodes and a Christmas special. 
The All Creatures Great And Small Christmas special will premiere on Channel 5 on Christmas Eve (Friday December 24th) at 9pm, it has been announced.
Channel 5's new Dalgliesh adaptation will premiere on Thursday November 4th at 9pm, with the second episode following on Friday November 5th at 9pm, it has been announced. Two new episodes will air each week on Thursday and Fridays in the 9pm slot.
The Madame Blanc Mysteries (formerly known as The Reluctant Madame Blanc) will premiere on Channel 5 on Saturday October 16th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Lie With Me (formerly known as Breathless) will premiere on Channel 5 on Monday July 12th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Channel 5 has inked a deal with international distributor Red Arrow Studios International to acquire the Archie Panjabi and Christopher Plummer fronted drama series Departure. The broadcaster will make the series available on 5Star and their streaming service My5.
Jill Halfpenny (The Drowning, Liar) and Owen McDonnell (Killing Eve, The Bay) have been set as the leads in The Holiday, Channel 5's four-part adaptation of the T.M. Logan novel. Rounding out the cast is Aidan McArdle (The Trial Of Christine Keeler, The Mallorca Files), Liv Mjönes (Midsommar, The Lawyer), Siobhan Hewlett (McDonald & Dodds, The Syndicate), Andrew Macklin (Doctor Who, Fair City) and Cat Simmons (Holby City, Moving On).
