Channel 4’s ‘Flowers’ Renewed For Second Season

Channel 4 has picked their Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) fronted comedy series Flowers for a second season, TVWise has learned. Six episode have been ordered for season two, which is set to air in 2017. The series airs in the United States on NBCU's comedy SVOD service Seeso.

Contrary to said rumours, however, David Tennant is not involved; with Stephen Merchant having been set as host. He follows in the footsteps of Richard O’Brien and Ed Tudor-Pole, who previously hosted the format in the 1990s.

The series explores the lives of ordinary people living under the spectre of the Troubles, all seen through the eyes of a local teenager.
