Channel 4 has secured the UK rights to the third season of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale from international distributor MGM Worldwide Television Distribution. The show's third season will premiere on the main channel later this year. In the meantime, the second season will be getting a repeat run on More4 from Thursday March 14th. 
Discovery has inked a wide-ranging licensing agreement with Channel 4 to acquire a wealth of Jamie Oliver content for their Food Network. “Jamie Oliver is a much-loved talent and we’re delighted to complete the deal with Channel 4, bringing Food Network fans more of his most popular cooking shows”, said Jamie Watkins, Content Sourcing and Acquisitions Manager at Discovery. 
Channel 4 has released a number of first look images from their upcoming four-part fake news drama Chimerica, which is set to premiere this spring. 
The second season of Derry Girls will premiere on Channel 4 on Tuesday March 5th at 9:15pm, it has been announced. 
Channel 4's spy thriller Traitors will premiere on Sunday February 17th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Channel 4 has given the greenlight to Deadwater Fell, a four episode crime drama set in Scotland from Grantchester scribe Daisy Coulam. Deadwater Fell tells the story of two families in the aftermath of an unthinkable crime. Best friends Jess and Kate were closer than sisters, they worked together at the local school and went on holiday together. But when Kate and her three children are found murdered, and her husband Tom is suspected of the crime, Jess’ world is upended in her search for answers.
