Channel 4’s ‘Humans’ Cancelled After Three Seasons
There will be no fourth season for Humans. The Channel 4/AMC co-production has been cancelled after three seasons, TVWise has confirmed. The news comes close to a year after the third season wrapped its run. “Humans will not be returning for another series. The show has had three successful series and has been much loved by fans", a representative of Channel 4 said in a statement. Channel 4 has handed out a sixth season renewal to their comedy series Friday Night Dinner. Production on the show's sixth season is set to get underway later this year for a 2020 premiere. With the renewal the series becomes one of Channel 4’s longest running sitcoms. The pick-up comes a little more than a year after the show's fifth season aired. Season five ranks as the show's second highest rated season with an average audience of 1.9 million views and an 11.4% share in its 10pm slot.
