Channel 4 Orders Cookery Competition Series ‘Cooking Up A Fortune’
Channel 4 has ordered Cooking Up A Fortune, a twenty episode cookery competition series that will allow amateur cooks get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to launch their own food brand to the British public. The series, which is being fronted by Dominic Cools-Lartigue, follows these amateur foodies who dream of escaping the rat race and cooking for a living, create and sell their dishes to hundreds of real diners in a purpose-built food arena. Each week the winning kitchen gets to launch their idea for a food business to paying customers, in one of Europe’s busiest food markets. The twenty episode stripped series is being produced by Frieda.TV. 
DRG has secured the international distribution rights to Channel 4's four-part factual series My Grandparents' War. The deal was struck between DRG and independent production company Wild Pictures.
The second season of GameFace will premiere on Channel 4 on Wednesday July 17th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Channel 4 has picked up the UK rights to the second season of Nordic thriller Alex for their foreign language VOD service Walter Presents after striking a deal with international distributor APC Studios. Walter Presents launched the first season in the UK last year.
Channel 4 has renewed their royal comedy series The Windsors for a third season. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is set to premiere later this year.
Channel 4 has set the cast for The Light. Joanna Scanlan (Getting On), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Westworld), Mark Lewis Jones (Keeping Faith), Genevieve Barr (Press) are set to star opposite Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley) in the four-part drama from Jack Thorne.
Channel 4 is marking the twentieth anniversary of Jamie Oliver's first TV series, The Naked Chef, with a new documentary fronted by Davina McCall. The hour-long docu, titled 20 Years Of The Naked Chef: Jamie Bares All, will air later this year.
